Hoi An Market Woman
Taken in the early morning markets at Hoi An. I sat there for 10 mins which seemed an eternity. I can’t express how much this meant to me. I was taking a rest as the heat was incredible under the plastic makeshift roof. She was totally oblivious to me, or I guess she was just in her own world as she prepared her food for sale. I felt like I was back in time, maybe even a 100 years ago. I have a feeling her mother and grandmother where here doing this exact same routine…. nothing wrong with that either.
